What a year
I my very honest opinion this has been by far the most exciting year for post-production work. Adobe is working hard to keep their subscriber base happy and growing with new features, not to mention they are continuing to innovate. Likewise, the team at BMD is hard at work with Resolve along with Fusion. The newest version of Resolve is better then the last. More responsive, better playback performance and a better interface make it a great piece of software.
Fusion, now available for OS X is another valuable tool. Granted it is not for use in motion graphics so Motion is my tool for that. On the other hand, I prefer Fusion for touching up footage and adding some zing to a single clip. The node based approach is just super.Current studio suite:

And, let’s not forget, at some point during the year you posted that we’re going to stop posting, but you really never did. That added immeasurably to all the excitement.
