Welcome to the NEW Field Production Forum!
This is a brand new forum for those of us camera folks, audio people, gaffers, grips, makeup artists, field producers, and others who spend more time shooting in the field, than in studios and edit suites. For those of us always moving furniture around trying to make conference rooms or offices look great for interviews, who shoot on mountainside, or in the middle of the ocean, or in someone’s cubicle. Who work with big crews and one-man bands. Who own gear or rent gear. Basically, those of us who make our livings on location – the traveling circus we call Field Production. WELCOME!

Fantastic to finally see a forum dedicated to field production. There are forums for cameras, lighting, audio and the catchall Business and Marketing forum that gets a little of everything, but I am thrilled to have a forum dedicated to the elusive art of showing up at the planned location, setting up and dealing with all of the situations one can anticipate and those we can’t while doing our best to get the shots we need.
I will be keeping a close eye on this forum!
