Welcome to Danny Hays
Posted by Mike Kujbida on June 3, 2008 at 1:47 pmIt seems like every time I sign on lately I see yet another new face on top 🙂
Glad to have you here Danny and, even though I’m sure the job has it’s drawbacks (name one that doesn’t), your job at Universal Studios sounds like a lot of fun.Mike Kujbida replied 17 years, 11 months ago 3 Members · 5 Replies -

June 3, 2008 at 9:15 pmThanks Mike, I’ve been with Universal for 13 years now. It does give me a chance to work with some realy cool hi-tech stuff I normally would not get the chance to like the DVS Pronto2K and 4K video servers. Thats about 4000 x 2000 60P video on the 4K. WOW!! Aligning the four projectors up to each other is a task. Yes it’s fun sometimes out here. Thanks again Mike. Danny Hays

June 3, 2008 at 11:56 pmSo the next time I bring the family to Florida for vacation, I can get a “behind the scenes” tour instead of avoiding all rides I don’t like anyway, right?

June 4, 2008 at 1:26 amOnly contractors and vendors are allowed behind the scenes unfortunatly. Universal is protective on how we do do things understandably. We’re always pushing the state of the art with new technologies and if everyone knows how the special effects are done, the novelty is lost somewhat. Same kind of toys we have but much more expencive. Danny

June 4, 2008 at 7:37 pmMike, I don’t want to get behind the scenes as much as I want to get ahead in the line. 🙂
Thanks for joining us Danny! Very cool to know that you’re using Vegas to make such cool stuff.

I just want to know how to get listed as a contractor so that Danny can give me a tour if I ever get down there 🙂
