I’ve received a bunch of DVCPRO 50 (PAL) files for a “must do it before yesterday” edit. All files are ok in quicktime, but one plays back at 10 fps in FCP, and it looks like it just “jumps over” the missing frammes (the motion timing is right, but the image is stuttering)

All the others act like they’re supposed to.

    Any ideas?

Open in QT, export new file as Self-contained?

Actually tried that + exporting through compressor prior to my question.

When I rendered the file in fcp, the missing frames mysteriously reappeared.

As this was a gig where most of the footage was pretty bad (in a photgraphical sense), the resulting file was quite usable.

    Still weird, though.
