Ok, I know that this is a very weird question, but I would love to hear anyone’s opinion.

I’m in the need for some good black shoes that are good for shooting weddings. I do a lot of running around and glidecam work, so I need to be able to be active. Also of course, I need them to be black and look good with a suit. Also, a pair that won’t wear out in 6 months would be good as well.

Thanks for helping me with this off the wall question. 🙂

Not weird at all. I have the same need and I chose Rockports with Vibram soles, they look like regular Oxfords, perhaps not as shiny, but feel like mocs or sneakers and they are way more comfortable than real oxfords.

I use Merrel footware. Great sneaker like comfort and traction with a more professional look.

I got turned on to https://www.ShoesForCrews.com by my cousin who’s been in the food service industry, being on his feet, this is where his wait stuff order their shoes. Non-Slip, great comfort, comes in dressy styles too.

Ok great! It looks like the rockports are the way to go.

Does anyone suggest a good place to get them at? Either online or a retail store at malls?

Thanks again for everyones input!! 🙂
