  • Weird problem when importing image sequence

Hi, I always encounter a weird problem when I import an image sequence into AE.

For example, I import a sequence of 250 images, and in AE my frame rate is set to 25 fps. Whereas my image sequence should fill up the full 10 seconds of footage, it always only fills up a shorter length than expected (lasting between 8-9 seconds).

If I export an image sequence out of that same AE file, I get only 209 frames of footage out of the 250 I imported in the first place.

    Any advice? Thanks.

Probably the default frame rate for importing footage is set at 29.97 or 30 fps. This way, when you import a sequence, even if it is at 25fps, AE sees it as 29.97. Change your prefs and you should be fine.
