Weird problem / Error in Vegas 7.0: a block immune to all video FX
Ok So i’ve got this extremely weird problem in sony vegas:

In this picture (it also fails with text media) you see that the bump map video effect works everywhere apart from that little block in the middle. It remains unaffected by anything. It’s also immune to Light Rays for example.
Ive tried creating new projects, new video layers, new project settings, nothing works.
Any idea how to remove this block-thingie?
Would be greatly appreciated!

AH yes, that’s be the “Immune Block Virus”
. . . nah, just kidding . . .What you have there is a selection that YOU have done at some point by DRAGGING your cursor OVER the face of the Preview. This is a useful function but not for you at present.
OK, to remove this “result” you need to click on the Split Screen Icon’s Drop down Arrow on the Preview Toolbar, and select ALL – that should reset your Fx viewing BACK to what you want. There maybe another tweak you then need to do, but that should remove the scrubbed selection.
