Weird: lost connection to highres and proxy, compound clip is not opening etc
Hi folks,
hope you guys can help me.
a friend of mine cut a project recently.
she called me because suddenly her compound clip was “empty”. when she opens the project and than the compound clip its nothing there. after that no sequence will open… she has to restart her fcpx. then she is able to open other projects again.
the “funny” thing is that she is able to play the compound clip to about 70% of its length. after that is black.
and restore all elements from the compound clip (alt g shortcut?) doesnt work. final cut pro x dies every time we’ve tried.other weird issue:
she has a lot of highres material from an event. she edited all in multicam. but suddenly some – not all – proxy files are not there (yellow triangle). but they are on her hdd.
do you know how to reconnect only proxys again without analyzing the whole footage again?do you think the pro maintance tools from digital rebellion may help (their “project repair”?)
