Weird DPX scrambles in AE ??!!??
Hi –
Experiencing an After Effects mystery, CS5 under OSX 10.7.5 – anybody have any thoughts? :
Working some 10bit DPX material, film scans 2048×1256, a couple different batches. SOME folders are fine, import and can be worked in AE, some appear in a crazy scramble, like an analog video fast-forward playback. What have I done, or not done?!

The files open fine in PS or Resolve…

Have you installed the 10.0.2 update? There were some fixes for DPX footage in the 10.0.1 update (and the 10.0.2 update is cumulative).

Thanks Todd for the comments. I just tried to open the material under CS6, and still encounter the issue. I tried to ask the film scanner guy what he may have done differently with some batches, with metadata settings, but he just shrugged. The fact remains that other apps work it fine…. ?
