Weird artifacts in preview and render, not in file
Posted by Ilgar Aminabadi on October 14, 2017 at 6:39 pmVegas Pro 13 decides that today it wants to mess up my AVI file. The render settings are set to a preset and match the video, so nothing should be going wrong.

Keep in mind that an .AVI is just a container for a video and/or audio file.
Mediainfo your original video file so we may help you.

When you render, what is your field order ?
You get artifacts sometimes when there is a conversion from interlaced to progressive somewhere along the process.
If that fails, try rendering part of your original file in another format an see if you get the same result.
Cheers !
