wedding videographer…question for DPE
Hello,
I’m a wedding videographer.
I just started using Sony vegas 8 and dvd architect.
I use a Sony HVR Z7 camcorder. This program really caught my attention (sony vegas 8).Before Son vegas 8 I used to do my work on Adobe Premier.I would like to use Sony vegas 8 from now on.
I live in East Europe and I use Pal 4:3 format, and the movie comes out in dvd format.I spent weeks finding the best settings to get the best quality.
My settings are: -capturing the video from mini dv casettes in a dv avi uncompressed format for my PC
-Sony vegas project settings:
-PAL dv
-frame rate:25.000(PAL)
-field order:none
-pixel format:8 bit
-full resolution rendering quality:best
-motion blur type:gaussian
-deinterlace method:noneIN Sony Vegas every in every film sequence is checked the reduse interlace flicker option, and the field order is set to none.
The renderin settings:dv avi
-frame rate:25.000(PAL)
-frame size:720×576
-field order:none
-video format:dv avi(PAL)
-interleave:every frame
In dvd architect I have the following settings: -PAL 25.000
-progressive:yes
-in the media file andin the menu the reduce interlce flicker is set to:on
-the media file lengt:1h 15m 00s
My problem is that the picture isn’t clear and when the people on the video are moving or the camera is moving we can see an interlace flicker.I would like to achive getting the best quality in TV(normal and LCD) and PC(CRT and LCD).What am I doing wrong?By rendering the sequence which format should I use(MPEG2).Could you specify youre answers.
PS:Can the VASST products be dellivered to Eastern Europe?
