I haven’t worked in video production since 2011. At one point I was doing a lot of editing for wedding video companies (Ankle issues. Didn’t shoot many or have my own clients). I’m thinking of doing some editing again, and I’m just wondering if pricing has changed much since 2011 in the wedding video world, for clients in the US.

I know it varies widely by company/videographer, but have they gone up much on the whole?

    Thanks

From where I’m looking, down and more down. Looking at places like Fiver, where they’ll cut for you for less than minimum wage, the only market left is super-high-end.

I see, yeah fiver and freelancer.com. That makes sense. But I’m asking more about the prices that wedding videographers charge a client to film and edit their wedding video, as compared to what they charged a decade ago. Have the prices risen sharply across the board?
