    Hi,

Is there a way to automatically crop the layers to match in length? I have a top layer with footage and I want the solid to match the length exactly-?
Also- is there a way to line up the render work comp bar too? By this I mean the top slider bar that sets the render area- otherwise I’m kicking out footage that’s a frame or two longer than the original footage and it’s a problem when I drop it back into my timeline in Premiere. BTW: using PC with 6.pro
    Thanks!

there are shortcuts do what you are asking…. is that what you mean?

for cropping the length of a layer just set the timeline where you want to crop, select all the layers you want to crop, then hit alt+] or alt+[

for setting the work area use b and n – so a regular combination of shortcuts is to select a layer that is the length of your render and hit “i, b, o, n”
