I am using Express DV 3.0 ad I cannot figure out how to pull up the waveform monitor and vectorscope. I have used the help menu but the instructions are not clear. Please help!

They are in the digitize tool. I figured about ten years ago or so Avid would work these into being useful for us but alas, still sportin’ the external scopes from the late 80s.
I know, your thinking, what!? I can’t just pop up a waveform monitor and vectorscope and see if my output is illegal with an Avid product!?
It’s best to just laugh. Helps ease the pain.

In current versions of MC & AXP of course there’s the color corrector with built in scopes. And you can only scrub through your video as they don’t work while playing your footage..so nothing beats the external scope.
