Why is it that I get the “extreme cropping” warning on certain clips I try to stabilyze? How to correct or how to know what kind of footage will not stabilyze? Perhaps the camera movements are too jumpy? Thanks…

It’s likely because you have some seriously unstable footage. In order to make it appear smooth after stabilizing it has to zoom in.

You can adjust the settings of the warp stabilizer….you may try backing off a bit (i.e. not making it so super smooth).

The Warp Stabilizer works great but it can’t perform miracles.

Yeah, it’s vibrating road-coming-at-you footage. Well, at least I know its limits. Otherwise a fantastic effect. Thanks for the quick responses! Johnny In Orlando
