Warp Stabilizer on only portions of clips
I have a few long take clips that I’m working on that are generally smooth. However, there are sections of the clips that can be bettter stabilized. I’m trying to avoid stabilizing the whole clip as the cropping involved wouldn’t be ideal and the takes are so long. I’ve split up the clips in sections and did it that way but matching the frames at my edit is virtually impossible. Is there a way to better do this? Is it possible to keyframe the Warp Stabilizer?

You can split the clip and apply warp stabiliser only to that clip!

Hi Dhanush, I’ve tried that but how do I best align my frames at the split? The warp stabilizer slight distorts my image.

not without a long process. see it here: https://lesterbanks.com/2013/07/converting-after-effects-warp-stabilizer-to-keyframes-for-more-control-of-stabilization/I think in a case where I need the stabilization to fade, I would use the point tracker or Mocha for stabilizing instead trying to convert my WS to keyframes.
