    Hey,

    Latetly some customers ask for more 3d in there commercials.
    Im not realy into 3d(only 3d in AEF) , but im willing to learn it.
    I used to work a little with c4d. But didnt make anything great and didnt like it aswell.
    I was wandering what programme is easy to learn and pretty cheap in price.
    The meaning is for simple 3d things, simple objects to mix afterwards in after effects.

    I gess 3d max is to difficult to learn in 1 a 2 weeks.
    Any ideas?

    I want for example to make things like this;
    https://www.onesize.nl/ surch for mtv KFC 2

    Im using mac, but have a pc aswell.

    T.

    Peace

    Well if you found C4D hard then you’re kind of SOL unless you try something extremely basic like Carrera. But C4D is well known to be easy, artist friendly, and of course sports the ‘mograph’ module (sold separately) which is a god send for motion graphics work. Especially the onesize type stuff.

    so none of your videos used 3d programs, just after effects? like the amstel commercial or the nike with Rudy, i myself would like to expand, but seems like your level is a few up from me so it appears im no where near maxing out my after effects skill to move up to 3d as you are,

    so what programs did you use for the amstel?

    thanks!

    ? He didn’t do those. That’s a full graphics house called onesize that did those. He wants to look like those and they use a ton of 3D.

    I’m sure it doesn’t need to be pointed out that it doesn’t matter what they used. It is their vision and design skills that created that work. Give them ANY of the common 3D packages available and the work would be identical. It’s like looking at a beautifully designed house and wanting to find out which bandsaw and hammer they used to build it. It’s still going to be built to the design that they created in the first place.
