    Want to Download Videos From Youtube to Edit

    I want to download some videos from youtube and edit them in FCP 7 but I’m having trouble downloading them. I tried downloading them using the DownloadHelper addon for firefox but it wouldn’t let me download the videos in 1080p. It only lets me download them in 720p or lower. I tried searching for a youtube downloader for mac for 10.6.8 and all the ones I installed said I needed 10.7 or higher. Does anyone know of a youtube downloader for mac that’s compatible with 10.6.8? Or is there some other method of downloading the videos? Thanks!
