Want to Capture JVC GYHD 60pSD?
Posted by Mickie Shaw on November 9, 2007 at 1:48 amHi,
Need help soon! I have FCP 5.1.4 and want to capture JVC GYHD 60p SD. JVC GYHD is a 720p camera. I don’t see a setting for this in the settings. See 30p but no 60p. Am I missing an update or is a different setting used?
Thanks in advance for your input.
Mic.

First there is no such thing as 60p SD.
” JVC GYHD” does not tell us which model of the camera
only the 250 can do 60p in 720 and only with the 7.1.6 version of QT.

Sorry but it does not.
there is no such format 60p for standard definition video-
that camera shoots 720p30 short GOP HDV on mini dv tape with duplicate frames in a 720p60 video stream.
IT outputs 720p60 it DOES NOT SHOOT 60fps.gary adcock

November 9, 2007 at 4:42 pmHello,
The camera has a rec. setting labled “HDV-SD60p”. According to the manuel it is recording “HDV formate shoots using a 480/60p signal.”
My only question is does anyone know if FCP will edit this format?
