Want to buy new machine for AE 6.5 and other graphics software
Dear friends
Want to buy a new PC with reasonable speed for learning purpose but hate to see things move or render on screen very slow.Presently 1.1 Ghz P3 processor does not help. The renders with 640×480 are a nightmare with lights and camera layers.
Cannot buy iMac or AMDs. Just suggest any Intel 915 series board and processor and minimum required RAM to get rid of above mentioned problems.
Urgent feedback will be much appreciated as I have to buy it on 3 November 05.

Bought a Dell about 6 months ago. P4 3.4 ghz. HT technology. 160 gb Hard Drive. 128 PCI Express Graphcis card. 2 GIG Ram 533
LOVE MY MACHINE. Many people suggest using Macs for editing etc. But this machine works awesome. Great preview times, render times, etc. I dont have any problems.
Maybe you dont like dell, but get something with those specs.
The machine came in around 1300.00 tax included
