July 28, 2010 at 4:01 pmDon’t know yet. The new Mac Pro specifically says it supports Jumbo Frames.
iMac does not in the simple Tech Specs provided on the Apple Page. Still investigating to find out exactly which Ethernet Controller is located inside the new iMacs.

August 9, 2010 at 11:55 pmThe information I’m receiving now is that NONE of the new iMacs support Jumbo Frames. Period. No clue why Apple has chosen to drop the ethernet controller for Jumbo Frames but this certainly kills any future iMacs from working on our Final Share SAN system.
Heck, we might have to switch to Mac Mini’s in the edit suites. Will certainly save us some money.
