Waht is the correct workflow for downconvertin 24P HD to DVcam 29.97

I hope I make myself clear as to what my question is 🙂
I have been through the process before, but it’s been a while.I have footage shot on a Sony F900 and want to have it downconverted to DvCam.
Capture it with FinalCut 5.0.4—Edit it and ultimately have it onlined on HD.Questions:
1. Any particular instructions on having the footage downconverted?
(last time I had them place the actual HD 24p windowBurn on the bottom part of the letterbox- Should both Timecodes be sinked up at zero. I know that they will differ eventually but should they start off the same?)2. Need FCP settings – After that I’m pretty much lost 🙁 Can’t recall the process from here on)
I understand that it might e alot of explaining, so If there is a link anyone knows I would greatly apreciate it.
