June 20, 2006 at 4:01 pmActually, the more I used it, I got a nice feel for sliding the pen back and forth in the TL to cue up a frame. It started to feel very natural and faster than JKL (though, I love JKL and am always amazed at how many people still don’t use them or know they exist!).
I think I’m going to love having a Wacom finally, though.

June 20, 2006 at 4:03 pmThat’s a great idea! It wasn’t my tablet, so I didn’t want to start messing with the settings too much. But it’s nice to know you can do that. I think Wacom has every base covered, don’t they?
What size do you use, Rob? I bet a 4×5 is handier for lugging around if that’s a factor?

Walter, I tried the tablet on another G5 (1.8 Ghz running 10.4.6 w/ 1.5 GB’s RAM and FCP 5.0.4) and it suffers the same exact problem. Actually, the dual 2.7 would bog down for longer. Straaange.
Do your machines have the graphics cards updated in them?
