  VTR Xchange crash on audio settings: IoHD, MacBookPro6,1 and Yosemite

  After plenty of use without incident, VTR Xchange now crashes when I operate the audio settings. As I’m capturing some very old tapes with linear monaural sound, I typically just want channel 2 of 8, at 24bit/48khz.

  Basic setup at this end of the SDI cable: IoHD, MacBookPro6,1 and Yosemite

  Headphones are monitoring at 24bit/44.1khz – I believe that’s the richest audio the headphone jack can serve.

  Here’s a crash log, with some details of my device settings at the end:

  After a crash I have to delete preferences and restart before I can attempt to set the audio again (without luck).

  Is there any smoking gun in that log that I can’t perceive?

  (Update: coincidentally, my IoHD asked to be firmware updated just now, but the versions appeared to be the same as before. All updated successfully. No change on the crashing, but I have updated this post to link to the log of the latest crash.)
