I had to tie into a separate feed for audio into my camera, but it was mono and only one channel so in Sony the right track shows up as just a straight line. Is there a way to duplicate the left track and post it on the right track so I have mono sound on both tracks?

Mono means one channel so right-click on the audio event and select “channels – left only”.

I must be missing something. So when I right click after highlighting the voice track do I click on ‘Audio Event FX…’? When I do click on that a box comes up, just like in Video, and it lists everything from ‘Amplitude Modulation’ to ‘Wave Hammer Surround’ but no ‘channels-left only’. I am in Movie Studio HD11.

All you do is right-click on the audio event and a box should come up with several options including the one I mentioned.
