VOB to AVI problem
I’ve got a urgent question…
I’m a student film maker shooting a film and I’ve recorded some parts with a sony dvd handycam. My problem is that the clips are VOB files, adobe premiere does not import them. Which is the best program I should use to convert these VOB files to AVI files?Grtz

Likely the most asked questions. Try renaming the files to Mpeg.
However, there are times when this won’t work, depending on how they were encoded. You next job will be doing a search on google for VOB to AVI converter.

If you have a DV camera with analog input, play the DVD to the camera and capture via the fire wire output of the camera.
You can also use Adobe Premiere Elements and edit the mpeg files.Good luck
