Vista 64-bit OS does not recognize camera
I have an DVX100B and cannot get my Vista 64-bit OS to recognize it via firewire.
I know the firewire is good because it always recognizes a Sony video camera I have.
Are there any tricks to getting this to work? -

Hi Dave,
Thanks for responding. I’ve tried all kinds of things and yes it’s in camera mode. I’m at the point now where I think it’s the videocam port that’s the problem, so I’ll have to have it checked out. -

No. Just trying to get the computer to beep when the firewire’s plugged in, like it does with the Sony videocam. 🙂 Otherwise, I’m using Vegas to do the capturing.
