Viewing Timecode from P2 cards before ingest
Hi I work in news. It’s often convenient to only ingest a certain bit of a speech rather than the whole thing. I set my camera’s timecode to the time of day. We film a speech and the journalist I work with jots down the grabs they want to use by marking the time.
That way when we get back to the edit suite I can just go to that time code and ingest the bit we need. The problem is in X it doesn’t display the timecode until you’ve ingested the footage (or in this example the whole speech). Is this a missing feature or am I missing something, shall I put in a feature request to Apple?

You need to turn on “Show Skimmer info”.
The default shortcut is control-y.
