  • Viewing Timcode on Sony F900r

Just finished a three day indie with the 900r. I tried every menu I could access to make time code viewable for the script supervisor via hd/sdi or vbs. Could not win. What did I overlook or what menu should I have searched for? I tried timecode menu, viewfinder display, etc.
I also tried the switch on side that had shot, no, or ubit ..nothing. DP had to shout out timecode for every take, quite annoying:)
    Thanks,
    Ed

I don’t believe that’s possible. On the F-900/3 you could burn it into the analog outputs. Call BandPro to find out.

HDSDI is a “clean feed” no menu overlays.

Use a script boy for transmitting the timecode to script supervisor.

To my knowledge the only way to view character out on the F900R is to purchase the 3:2 pulldown board. At least that is what I was told.
