Can I view a hi-def HDV tape in (SD form) in a Sony VX2000?
If so, can I capture HDV as SD into Vegas via a VX2000?
How do you make a dup of a HDV into SD MiniDV?

No.

You’ll need an HDV camera from which you can dub to your SD camera. BTW, if you have the HDV camera, you can just capture as HD and/or have it downconvert to SD on the fly while capturing. Plus, an HD camera can also record standard DV which your VX2000 could read.
