Viewing HD on Panasonic BT-LH1700W Monitor
Interesting problem today. Imported data from Panasonic AG-HVX200 into FC using BM DVCPRO-HD720p 8 bit codec. In the timeline everything looks great. But when sent out to the Panasonic BT-LH1700W 17″ LCD monitor via SDI the image is squashed top to botom. Resulting in a picture that seems to be stretched horizontally. Does anyone have the answer to this issue.

Sounds like you have to check your “View-External video” settings.
Set the playback to “hdtv 720” @ whatever framerate your sequence is in.
