Viewing date of footage taken
Being new to FCP, is there a way to view the date of footage taken from a DV tape? On the PC side, using Corel VideoStudio, when I load an .AVI file into the timeline that was captured from my mini DV camcorder, there is an option to view the time and date. When I select to show this, when I play the clip, the date shows. All I want to do is know the date the part of the clip was taken. Over the course of months, I capture a lot of family footage, such as kids birthday parties etc, and when creating my project, I want to add text on the video that says “John’s 8th birthday party” Anyway, thanks in advance for your help.
