Viewing AE projects through P6000?
I just saw this on the Media100 website –
‘Reduce post-production time and eliminate trial and error cycle. Use P6000 platform to view composites on NTSC monitor within After Effects.’
I’ve been using AE & M100i for years and never knew this was possible. How do you do it? -

Matt, are you kidding???
In OS9/Media 100 i up to V7.5.1 you can use the Video Previewer, a little application that lets you see a part of your desktop on your video monitor. Under OSX you need to turn on the “Video Preview” preference inside AE to preview to the Media 100 board. With Media 100 i it is useful to turn auto preview off and to use the “/” key on the numeric keypad for previews; with the HDx board you can have full preview with realtime playback on video out from AE.
