Could someone help me out with this: when playing a clip in the Viewer window or playing a timeline in the Canvas window both show only white. My external preview monitor shows the video output correctly.

The RGB / Alpha / Alpha + RGB toggle is set to “RGB”. If i change the toggle to “Alpha + RGB” the video appears in Viewer/Canvas with a red mask overlay on top of it.

    I’m running a FCP 7.0.2 on a 2 x 2.26 GHz Xeon Mac Pro w/ Black Magic Decklink card.

What are the specs of the clip? Try trashing your preferences.

    All the best,

    Trashing the preferences didn’t help.

I also tried setting up a new project with the Admin user but it didn’t help.

I’ve tried 10-bit Blackmagic PAL and DV PAL clips, but the problem remains. All of the clips play normally in QuickTime player.
