    thanks Mike, I was trying to still have the monitor tabs and the buttons but without the actual video display, that way I could still launch and view footage on the source side without launching the actual display and screen it on the video monitor.

    Hi, Pedro

    You can close them as you would any other window, by clicking on the red button in the upper left-hand corner of the window.

    To get them back, it’s Cmd-1 for the Viewer and Cmd-2 for the Canvas.

    Just size them as small as you want them, or you can even overlap windows (cover up a window w/ another). Go to Window > Arrange > Save Window Layout so you can return to this setting anytime. Hit CTL+U when you want to change back to standard.
