View Main Comp While Editing Pre-Comp?
Is there a way to view the main comp while working and editing a pre-comp? I want to edit some animated text that is in a pre-comp on a solid color background, but i would like to see how it affects it’s placement on top of some layers of video.

Yes you can. In your comp window, click the lock icon to keep that view active, then switch to your precomp timeline.
