    Hi, I’m just an AE beginner so this is probably a simple task… I just can’t work it out!

    I’m painting something out of a shot using clone stamp. However I want to be able to just render out a still frame of the paint over alpha, so I can comp it back into Premiere as a still over my edit (to save me having to re-render a whole video in AE). But I cant work out a way to turn the layer off and see only paint. Is that possible?

    Thanks, Yeh it is locked off 🙂 It will work I know for sure. Just need to work out how to view only the cloned footage so I can make a render of that.

    Copy your paint effect onto a solid and turn Paint on Transparent to On.
