Videos exported from Premiere Crash AE
This seems like a revisit of the old YUV bug.
If I export an uncompressed 8 bit video from Premiere using the Decklink compiler the resulting file will immediately crash AE on import.
If I export using the Microseoft AVI uncompressd setting the file is fine.
This was happening with the 5.9.2 drivers so I updated to 6.3 but got the same result.
Usually this would be a minor annoyance that I could work around, but I found out about this because I just sent a client 84 uncompressed files that they were going to use in AE and they just called to say none of them work. -

Update your after effect 7 to the 7.01.
This is a know bug and it has been corected by adobe.
