Video wont play
When I have a source clip or a sequence clip, If I hit play I will see the first frame of video and the audio will play normally. I checked the composer window and the timeline and both sit on the left monitor with no overhang or any other windows on top of them.
Any thoughts as to why this is the case?
I am running an AMD|A64 X2 4200+ 2.2G with 2 gigs ddr 400 ram. The software is installed on one drive and the media is on a seperate drive. If I toggle to export, I can see and play the timeline without an issue on the deck, but I still see the same problem in avid.

Are you running at ATI graphics card? If so, that’s probably your problem–Avid plays nice with nVidia, and that’s about it (on the PC side).
If you are running nVidia, which graphics card are you running and what driver version is installed for that card?
