Video won’t play, just displays a still, audio plays fine.
I realize I’m the 800th person with this problem but I’ve been all through this forum and the archives and all through the AVID forums and the only thing anyone’s come up with is NVIDIA drivers. I’ve used every NVIDIA driver they have and only one will work well with my machine. My computer is a brand new Dual Core AMD 2.2ghz system with NVIDIA 6100 series chipset. I realize it’s not AVID certified but I’ve run AVID on much much less. Does anyone have any Idea what could be going wrong here? I can scrub every frame of the video, the audio plays, after playing the image advances to the playhead. But it just won’t stream. My current NVIDIA driver is 81.98 for XP. Could there just be a setting or something? Please Help! I’m rather frustrated.
