  Video Sync drifting by a frame…

  Hey Everyone,

  I have a strange problem here… When I edit to tape sometimes my edit will drift by one frame coming in at :01. I have my offset set to -07 which is correctly timed and if I change it, my edit will then come in on the :29 frame. Has anyone seen this before or know what I can do to fix it??? It’s starting to drive me crazy when I’m doing a versioning layback that’s an hour or two long and I get print two or three times…

  Specs:
  OSX 10.3.6
  Dual 2.5 GHz PowerPC G5
  2 GB DDR SDRAM
  AJA IO Firewire

  Final Cut Pro HD 4.5
