Does anyone know how to verify if the Decklink card is using the video reference signal. With AJA cards there is a control panel that gives you a status of all of the inputs and outputs… and it is very clear as to what the status is… Internal, input and ref with regard to video lock.

In the manual for the Decklink cards there is not much mention of reference except that you can adjust the timing offset in the preference pane.

I’m assuming that the DL card just automatically uses it if ref is present? Can one force input lock vs. ref lock. Will the card to input lock?

    Please chime in…

    thanks!

I think there is a message that comes up if the card detects a Ref input.

Yes, you are right! Just found that… bottom of the pref pane.. indicates that “ref present” or something like that.

    thank you!
