    video quality does not add up

    Hi,
    I have an aniamtion rendered to quicktime using the animation codec, set to millions of colours+. The quality is fine until I bring it into AE. Once dragged on to the comp the quality becomes poor. However my resolution settings are on full and in the comp timeline the quality is set to best and if I double click the video file in the library the video quality is fine. Am I missing something I have never encountered this before.
