Video preview on 2nd monitor
Hi,
Is there a way to get AE7 Pro to display video on a 2nd monitor? I’m using an nVideo graphics card with a video-out going to a video monitor. Both Premiere Pro and Color Finesse can output video to my video monitor without trouble (the nVidia driver sets up the video monitor as a “2nd monitor”).
In AE, I’ve tried going to Preferences > Video Preview but I only have two options for the output device: “Computer Monitor Only” or “Firewire”. I’d prefer not to have to go via a DVCAM deck just to get a video preview from AE.

Hi Jack,
you can use the “Dualview” feature of the nForce driver to span your desktop across two displays. Just enable the dualview. Then goto nView Properties>enable desktop Manager>User Interface>Title bar buttons and check the Full-desktop maximise box and maximise your AE window across your two displays. Now you can arrange your workspace over the two displays. The dualview feature is very handy!
