video panorama out of stabilized footage
I’ve been stabilizing video of a pan-around using Mocha Pro and the process results in a stabilized subject and a roving frame.
That got me thinking if it was possible to stack the stabilized frames to create the video equivalent of stitched photographs. I tried using the echo plugin, making 120 echoes each .1 seconds apart but it created a jittery stitch which I assume is due to the interaction of various lens optics.
I cannot really wrap my brain around how to stitch the pan together better, so if anyone has any suggestions?

Matthias Mohl at Mamoworld has a clever solution similar to what I was proposing, except that it results in a composite with constantly shifting frames.

Can you post a video of what you have? I’m not able to visualize what you have and what you’re trying to accomplish.
