    Hi there,

when I playback a sequence in Premiere 1.5, it shows up on my client monitor as it should. But when loading a clip from my project into a clip monitor, it does not show on the monitor, only in the clip monitor. Also when I click on the little arrow on the to right of the clip-monitor the “platback settings” is grayed out. The same menu item on the sequence monitor is ofcause not grayed out.

Is it possible to have the clip-monitor outputting to your client monitor or is it only the sequence monitor that outputs to the client monitor?

What about PPro 2.0 can does it output to the client monitor?

The source monitor should play out to your external monitor…it does on mine machine (generic OHCI). You must make the source monitor active to access playback settings (dragging a clip into it or clicking in it).

I do make my source monitor active, but the menu item is still grayed out. Are you using PPro 1.5 also?

Anyway, thank you, because knowing that it should work, is a great help. The anoying thing is to try something and not knowing if that something even is possible. Now I know, that is half the solution.
