I’m editing with FCP on a Macbook Pro. I’m getting very poor quality video on my Panasonic LH2600 Monitor (as seen on the front page of the COW). I’m using Apple’s DVI to video adaptor to the monitor. Is there a solution that will produce a better quality image on this monitor? I’m shooting 1080i DVCPRO HD.

I’m hoping to using this combination at a conference to display some video presentations in addition to editing and want thte best image possible.

    Thanks,
    Jim

That won’t work. The only thing I can think of for you is to either monitor on your computer monitor via Digital Cinema Desktop. Maybe you can get the new Matrox MXO for this? Otherwise, you need a capture card or the Panny deck to make monitoring happen.
