Video or Not? I can’t see it, please help!
I am very video noob, but I just got ahold of Vegas 6 and I’m very excited to start a project of me and my friends trip. I have mostly just JPEGs from the trip, but I also took around 10 video’s w/ my digital camera (Fujifilm Finepix Z1). The pictures work fine, but I’m having problems w/ the video. I’ve imported them as AVI, but they don’t appear anywhere! I mean they are in the media bin, but not on the preview screen, or in the track screen. Why wouldn’t I be able to see this video? The audio from the video works, but no picture. The files are AVI, and they are saved directly on my hard drive. My camera has a PAL or NTSC option, and it’s set to PAL, but I would think that importing an AVI directly in to Vegas from another location on my hard drive would work? The AVI’s play fine in Windows Media Player, and FujiFilms Finepix, but nothing in Vegas. Where am I going wrong? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
