Video Not Appearing In Track View Or Preview
I used Fraps Video to capture previews of one of my games and the resoultion I used was 1024×768. When i use the 1024×768 resolution the video tracks wont play although the audio does (the videos play in every other media device e.g winamp windows media player). In the “Track View” it shows a black screen for the whole clip as in the privew. I’ve tried changing the video properties to a larger resolution although this does not help either.
Any help to fix this would be greatly apprecieated.

Use GSpot to figure out what codec is actually being used. Locate and install that codec. Or run it through Virtual Dub and have it convert it to something Vegas can read.

What do you reccomend is a good type to render as?
Please include settings aswell.
I dont mean to be a hastle but its the first time i’ve used this program =P.

Depends on what you’re wanting to do! If you’re going back to MiniDV, then DV-AVI. If you’re going to DVD, then MPEG2. If you’re going to the web, probably WMV.
This questions will require more information to answer accurately.
