What’s the best way to create a DVD video loop (with no audio) of a number of stills?
My issue is that my client needs this to play on one of these Plasma Screens:
    1. an NEC 42″ plasma monitor whose spec’s include: resolution:1024 x 768 aspect ratio: 16:9
    2. a Panasonic 42″ plasma monitor whose spec’s include resolution: 852 x 480 aspect ratio: 16:9
I was thinking I would build and move each still in After Effects export a Quicktime movie to then cut the loop in Final Cut Pro

Sounds like a good option to me.

I might be better to create the QT files at the exact resolution of the monitor (then no ugly video scaling needed) then just play them on a small Mac Mini connected to the monitor. It might look much cleaner without the DVD compression. Just a thought.

Do a quick test on a DVD player and see if it is acceptable. Niether one of the displays is true 720P HD. A good SDDVD should look acceptable and is by far the easiest solution.

As I said, just do a quick test DVD and see if it will work or if you need to figure something else out.
